Why we install Kaleidescape
Kaleidescape is the only movie source that delivers true reference-quality playback in a custom theatre. Streaming services compress audio and video aggressively — Kaleidescape doesn't. The Strato player streams lossless Dolby Atmos and bit-for-bit Blu-ray-quality video from the Kaleidescape Movie Store, which means a $40,000 theatre actually sounds and looks like one.
We specify Kaleidescape on every dedicated theatre build where the client cares about playback quality. We are an authorized Kaleidescape dealer and have deployed Strato systems across Collingwood, Blue Mountains, Thornbury, and Toronto-area projects.

Local installation context
Kaleidescape is most commonly deployed in our dedicated theatre builds — typically 4-seat to 12-seat rooms in lower-level walkouts of larger Collingwood, Blue Mountains, and Thornbury homes. We also install Strato V in media rooms where clients want better-than-streaming quality without a full theatre buildout.
Kaleidescape integrates cleanly with Crestron and Savant control systems, which we use as the front-end on most Georgian Bay theatre projects.
When we recommend Kaleidescape
Any dedicated theatre build over $30,000 should have a Kaleidescape source. The price difference between Strato and a high-end streaming setup is small relative to the rest of the room — and it's the single biggest improvement in playback quality you can make.
We don't recommend Kaleidescape for casual media rooms where streaming is good enough.
