Our Approach: Design, Install, Commission, Support
Design
On-site walkthrough of every room and exterior elevation to identify scenes, keypad locations, fixture types, and shade coordination. We coordinate with the architect, interior designer, and electrician at the framing stage on new construction, or scope a phased retrofit on an existing home. Lutron HomeWorks, Crestron, RadioRA 3, Ketra, and DMF specs are issued in writing.
Install
Lutron HomeWorks QSX panels and Crestron lighting modules installed in a properly ventilated equipment closet by Lutron-certified and Crestron-trained technicians. Architectural keypads engraved to the scene names the family agreed to. Ketra and DMF fixtures aimed and trimmed in coordination with the electrician.
Commission
Every load measured, every dimmer trim set, every scene programmed and tested with the family in the room. Astronomical clock locked to Collingwood latitude and longitude. Sleep and wake schedules tuned to the family's actual routine. Keypads relabelled if the family wants different scene names after living with the system for a week.
Support
Lifetime configuration backups stored with us. Annual lighting tune-ups to clean drift, reprogram for renovations, and update firmware. Lutron and Crestron remote service so most calls are resolved without a truck roll. The same technician returns each year — the system stays on spec as the home evolves.

Brands We Install
Lighting design starts with the right platform for the home. Most of our estate work runs on Lutron lighting control, scaling from the flagship HomeWorks system to the wireless RA3 platform for retrofits and mid-size builds. For tunable, circadian-quality light we specify Ketra fixtures, and we standardize on DMF architectural downlights for the trim itself.
When a single platform needs to drive lighting alongside AV and shading we deploy Crestron-controlled lighting, and for homes built around the OS we offer Control4 lighting integration as a unified path.
