Ketra Lighting Installation in Collingwood & Georgian Bay

Ketra is light that behaves the way sunlight does. A Ketra downlight at noon produces a cooler bluer spectrum; the same downlight at 6pm produces a warmer amber-leaning light that matches what the sun is doing outside. This is true colour-temperature tuning from 1400K to 10,000K per fixture with museum-grade colour accuracy. Summit Logic is a certified Ketra installer deploying tunable natural-spectrum lighting for health-focused luxury homes across Collingwood, Blue Mountains, and Thornbury.

What's Included in a Ketra Install

Ketra D3 and D4 downlights — the workhorse round aperture fixtures for ceilings throughout the home

Ketra Linear for cove lighting, wall-wash, and architectural niches that need continuous tunable light

Ketra pendant and decorative fixtures for kitchen islands, dining tables, and feature locations where the fixture is part of the design

Ketra surface-mount fixtures for closets, mudrooms, and any ceiling without recess depth

Lutron HomeWorks QSX backbone — Ketra requires HomeWorks infrastructure and cannot run on RadioRA 3 or Caseta

Natural Light profile that tracks sunrise, noon, sunset, and twilight at the home's actual latitude and longitude through the seasons

    Custom scenes built around real moments — 2700K dinner, 4000K morning work, 1800K wind-down, candle-warm 1400K nightcap

Ketra N4 hubs per zone, CRI 95+ with R9 over 90 colour rendering, and integration with Crestron Home, Control4, Savant, and Josh.ai

Our Approach: Design, Install, Commission, Support

    Design

Room-by-room walkthrough to identify where Ketra delivers measurable benefit and where DMF or standard LED is the right fit. Fixture selection (D3, D4, Linear, pendant, surface) coordinated with the architect and interior designer. Natural Light profile parameters set to the home's coordinates and the family's actual schedule before order.

    Install

Ketra fixtures and N4 hubs installed on the HomeWorks QSX backbone by Lutron-certified and Ketra-trained technicians. Aiming and trim coordinated with the electrician at finish. Hubs located in the equipment closet so the family never sees them.

    Commission

Natural Light profile activated and verified against actual sunrise and sunset on commissioning day. Scenes programmed in collaboration with the family — dinner warmth, morning energy, wind-down amber, late-night candle. Colour rendering validated against art, materials, and skin tones in each room.

    Support

Configuration backups stored with us. Annual recalibration to keep colour mixing accurate as fixtures age and as the family's routine evolves. Ketra remote support through Lutron so most calls resolve without a truck roll. Same technician each year — the system stays on spec.
