Large Venue Audio System in Collingwood

A large venue in Collingwood required a complete audio overhaul after experiencing poor clarity, weak coverage, and feedback from a previous contractor's installation. Congregants and attendees struggled to hear clearly, and audio performance was inconsistent across the room.

Summit Logic redesigned the system for the Collingwood venue using K-Array's Kobra line-array technology, delivering exceptional clarity, even coverage, and a natural full-range sound. The new system blends discreetly into the architecture while offering dramatically improved speech intelligibility and musical support.

We engineered a new sound reinforcement system using K-Array Kobra KK52 line arrays with variable beam control, ideal for spoken-word and long-throw environments. To rebuild trust, we performed an on-site demonstration so the client could hear the coverage improvements before installation.

Two KU26 subwoofers were added for warm, natural low-end support. The entire system is powered by a K-Array KA14 amplifier with real-time DSP, enabling fine-tuned presets for sermons and worship music. Wiring was discreetly concealed, and equipment was mounted with precision to respect the venue's aesthetics.
